About Jo Colontonio, MBA, PCC, CPC

Jo Colontonio has always been a trailblazer with extensive leadership and business experience in building extraordinary organizations, leaders and teams. She is often found wearing many hats…Leadership Firecracker, Business Builder, Problem Solver, Change Agent…but always keeps two on at all times… Rainmaker and Personal Growth Junkie.

She believes in disrupting the status quo to build high energy organizations with extraordinary people, vibrant cultures, enlightened leadership, and cutting-edge business strategies that are proven to get big results: empowered leaders, engaged employees, and increased profits…all of which outperform the competition.

In addition to over two decades of business experience, Jo holds dual degrees in Economics and Business, an MBA in Marketing, and post-graduate certifications in Executive Coaching, Change Management, Team Performance, and Leadership Development. She is an Award-Winning Executive Business Coach, Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, and the Founder of the Ignite Excellence Coaching Institute, an ICF-accredited coach certification program that is the gold standard in the industry. Ignite’s Executive Leadership Coach Certification and Leading Intelligent Teams Coach Certification programs are offered in partnership with Centenary University. Centenary University has a 150-year tradition of providing high quality liberal arts and professional studies while helping students gain the skills and connections they need to prosper in today’s world.

Jo is an avid volunteer and is passionate about sharing her expertise to support others. She currently holds Board of Director positions as President with the International Coach Federation for New Jersey and Vice President of Learning & Development with the Great Careers Group. In addition, she works with Braven Inc as a Leadership Coach and Facilitator, where she works with college students individually and through workshops to design their vision, goals, career, and roadmap to success.

Jo is unique in that she brings a strong, diversified background in Human Capital, Business Development, and Higher Education. Her expertise in business and marketing strategy, organizational culture and change management, leadership, and team development are built into all of her work and programs.
